I moved to Seattle in 2006 when I went to Seattle University for undergrad and I stayed here ever since. I live in Capitol Hill with my partner and our bright blue pet fish. Laughing among good company is a favorite hobby, along with hiking, cooking, knitting, and reading good books. I have multiple roles in the Seattle community, all with the goal of advocating for equity while cultivating health and empowerment. I am a Licensed School and Mental Health Counselor. Working in school systems for nine years, I have a depth of understanding of how we are constantly impacted by interconnected social and family dynamics. I also know how to navigate school systems and can support families with firsthand experience in this journey. Working with youth, adults, and families, I aim to provide pathways toward holistic healing and growth through self-efficacy, motivation, and balance. My therapeutic lens is existential and person-centered. I take an integrative approach, calling on DBT skills, family systems, and psychodynamic interventions. I welcome all clients, including those experiencing mood disorders, LGBTQIA+ identity exploration, anxiety, depression, symptoms of post traumatic stress, and family trauma.
